this is just a brief summary. it seems that the girl and the ski patrol man were together but he was always missing dates because of his work, the girl said that they should break up. they meet again when the girl comes with her new boyfriend who asks the ski patrol guy to help set up a proposal to the girl and the ski patrol guy does it, sadly. Then after the man calls her she opens the mail box and sees that he saved all that money for her and that's why he was working so hard
